New Orleans-based, singer, songwriter, producer, Channing “Chandero” Armour brings to music-lovers a sound that has an old- and a new-school flavor to it, inspired by his love for all sorts of music… r&b, southern soul, zydeco, musicals, and more. It is soulful, sexy, and fun with lyrics that force you to sing along and beats that make you move. Channing has released two albums, “I Remember When” and “Keep It Moving,” and several singles. He is now working on his third album.
Channing hails from a musical family (His cousin is New Orleans legend Fats Domino!) and developed an early passion for music. You could say that music flows through his veins! He got his start in school choirs which heavily influences his music, leading to background vocals that are powerful and multi-dimensional. He was a popular artist on the talent show circuit in New Orleans and has produced hot tracks for several artists. He is working hard to pursue his passion to perform and promote his original music while still occasionally engaging the crowd with fun covers.
